Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday morning we had an appointment with the vet specialist for Kaia. They had mixed up days for my appointment, but they did see us anyways. Kaia was so nervous! One ear up, one ear down to scan the entire space.
They confirmed what our usual vet said: torn cruciate ligament. Best option for a dog this size and age is surgery. That's the bad news, although expected. The good news is they were able to schedule the surgery pretty soon, just a couple of weeks from now. If all goes well, Kaia will be back full force before our favorite and most active part of the year, winter.
In the afternoon, the weather was a bit too hot for us, but we spent plenty of time in the yard again.
Le Chat was just waking up...
But Kaia was much more relaxed now.
Once again I didn't go to our usual forest, but just to the small one behind the yard.
Apparently, doing nothing is very tiring, because both Le Chat and Kaia were ready to sleep.
Except for our appointment in the morning, it was a pretty usual work day again. Way too routine actually, I need to change that!
